How Your Sponsorship Makes An Impact

  • Home Repairs

13% of the population in Yancey County were displaced with homes at a total loss. Countless others are facing expensive repairs with little to no insurance assistance.

  • Transportation

Many individuals or families lost all forms of transportation to Helene. Donations can be used to purchase new transportation.

  • Basic Needs

Support those who may have lost jobs or the ability to work with financial contributions that allow them pay their bills and put food on their tables.

  • Fuel

It can take a family ~$40 per day in fuel to use a generator for basic needs in a home - showers, laundry, cooking and lights on. Donations can allow families still without power to purchase fuel for buddy heaters or generators.

  • Community Support

Small businesses and community events took a big hit from Helene as well. Donations can be used to partner with small businesses to bring cheer and goodwill to the community with events and more.

  • Countless Other Needs

The people of WNC are resilient, but Helene left a years-long mess to recover from. Financial contributions from generous donors can be used to facilitate help and hope where needed.
